About the Italian Village Commission

The Italian Village Commission was established by Columbus City Council in 1973 and consists of seven members appointed by the Mayor. A Certificate of Appropriateness must be obtained from the Commission before doing any work, other than routine maintenance, on the exterior of any structure in Italian Village.

Italian Village Commission Meeting Schedule

The Italian Village Commission meets on the first and third Tuesday of each month, April through October, and on the third Tuesday of each month from November through March. Meetings are held at the Community Training Center, 109 North Front Street, Ground Floor at 6:15 p.m. eastern time.

The next meeting will be May 20, 2008.
